FOLDING -畳む- 

Inspiration came from origami and traditional Japanese wrapping cloth, “Furoshiki”, and the awe at the attention to detail and beauty of how Japanese people “put away”.

Instead of clothing the body, this collection employs “folding” techniques to cover the body with various materials.

折り紙や風呂敷にインスパイアされ、

日本人の<仕舞う>という美意識に感銘をうける。

服を着せるのではなく体を仕舞うという視点から、

『畳む』『折る』などのテクニックを色々な素材で表現。
